Session 1: Dynamic Presentations


As a presenter, engaging your audience can be challenging; you want to feel confident about what you are presenting. Dynamic Presentations teaches you the basics of becoming a dynamic presenter. To begin, you will learn the training process and how you can make your trainings effective in your organization.  You will also explore your role within each stage of the process. You will learn skills that will give you the techniques for assessing your audience’s needs, cultural considerations, and appearance. You will learn that preparation is key in any presentation. In addition, you will learn technical skills in using your voice, gestures, and facial expression. Finally you will focus on the use of games or activities and visual aids to enhance your training.

Training Objectives:

Learn the skills to become a dynamic presenter and excite your audience. Learn how to apply the Training Process in order to assess your audience needs, including cultural considerations. Learn how to use your voice, body, and gestures effectively while presenting. Learn how to effectively use visual aids to capture your audience. Workshop Learning Objectives The trainer will be able to identify the steps of the training process. The trainer will understand the different roles of the Training Specialist. The trainer will be able to identify 5 components of preparation and apply these components to presentations. The trainer will learn tools for audience assessment. The trainer will be able apply cultural considerations when preparing presentations. The trainer will be able to dress professionally and appropriately for presentations. The trainer will be able to project their voice during presentations. The trainer will be able to utilize appropriate gestures and facial expressions during presentations. The trainer will be able to design and implement games and activities during training. The trainer will be able to use visual aids appropriately during presentations. The trainer will develop strategies for co-teaching.
