This supervisor's class is designed to address an employee's inability or unwillingness to meet performance expectations. The principle of Progressive Performance Management is to use both proactive and responsive means to address performance issues.

The supervisor will assist the employee in recognizing issues and to improve work performance. The process is not intended as punishment but rather to help the employee correct unsatisfactory performance.
