Due to the complex nature of Autism, staff can find it challenging to work with someone who is affected by the disorder. Understanding this disability, however, can make a great difference in the way staff support a person with autism.

This seminar is designed to be an experiential introduction to working with people with Autism. This seminar does not cover specific medical or scientific information, but rather provides practical approaches to considering and accepting the behavior of a person with Autism through the use of participatory exercises and anecdotal evidence.
