Have you ever witnessed abuse? Have you ever put yourself at risk of abusing someone? This seminar explores these issues.

Abuse is obvious when it is physical, but occurs more frequently in subtle forms. Staff will explore actual examples of abuse in the workplace to learn how to identify abuse.

In addition to teaching regulations concerning student protection and reporting, staff will explore ways to intervene in abusive situations. A group forum will feature sample scenarios to allow participants to act out possible interventions. Very empowering!
