Training Policies

Training Policies

Please refer to the Training Institute's policies for registration, payment terms, cancellation, refund, certification reprint, and accommodations. Have you ever been surprised by another organization's practices? By establishing clear policies and sharing them, a foundation of mutual expectation is established. We can best serve you by providing clear, professional information. Please take the time to review the polices that may pertain to you.

Registration

Pre-registration is required for all training. There is no on-site registration. You will receive a registration confirmation which includes address and directions to training location. Most workshops have limited seating and registration is first-come, first-served so be sure to register early.

Payment Terms

Registration must be prepaid except by prior arrangement. At this time, we accept checks, money orders, purchase orders, State direct-deposit and maybe chocolate! No credit cards accepted at this time.

Cancellation

Rescheduling is made free of charge with 60 days written notice (max 2 reschedulings). A 10% rescheduling fee is assessed with less than 60 days notice. A 20% cancellation fee is applied to all workshop cancellations.

Refund

We believe so much in the excellence of our training services that we want to unconditionally guarantee that you will leave with the tools and resources you need to make empowered change. Your success is our success. If you are not satisfied, we are not satisfied. If you are not satisfied that our training provided you with the tools and resources to address your problems, we will refund the price of your training or we will do it again. It’s that simple.

Accommodations

At the Service Alternatives Training Institute, we take great measures to ensure the successful learning experience of all attendees. This includes considerations to the learning materials and learning environment. Inclement Weather

The Training Institute will not conduct trainings in inclement weather. Any weather condition that makes travel to and from training hazardous to the safety of employees is considered inclement weather. Examples include, but are not limited to, snow storms, wind storms, and flooding. The Training Institute shall consider several factors to determine if weather conditions warrant cancellation:

No one is expected to attend training if he/she believes that the weather would prohibit him/her from driving safely. Even when training is held, attendees must use their own judgment about their ability to drive in inclement conditions.

Notification of Cancellation

All effected attendees shall be notified of cancellations, if contact information is available. Please provide contact information upon registration.

Minimum and Maximum Class Sizes

The Training Institute makes every attempt to conduct all scheduled trainings. However, in order to provide a proper learning environment, a minimum number of attendees is often critical.

Attendance Requirements

It is a basic job expectation that all individuals arrive on time to each training. Each individual needs to be prepared and ready to learn at the time a class is scheduled to begin.

Should you arrive late, the Training Specialist will use judgment based upon the content of the material missed and the ability to individually train you in the missed material to determine whether or not it will be acceptable for you to stay in the class.

Certification Reprint

If you need another copy of your certificate, you can request it with a $29 Certification Reprint fee. You will need to provide: your name (at the time of the training), date, location, instructor and training title. Contact Us directly to request your reprint.
