Bloodborne Pathogens
Description:
Risk of exposure to Bloodborne pathogens can provide a safety hazard in some work places. This course focuses on HIV and Bloodborne Hepatitis. You will learn the etiology, treatment, symptoms, epidemiology, transmission, testing and psychosocial issues. Focus will be placed on workplace practices that reduce risk of exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.
Audience:
Human Service employees, Daycare providers, and anyone with a desire/requirement to receive BBP instruction that meets OSHA requirements.
