Biography
After graduating from college, I fully expected to be hired into a management position of some sort. With great humility, I learned the importance of ‘doing the work’ in order to have such an opportunity. I quickly developed a great passion for supporting human beings to develop their potential. While my passion started with adolescent girls with behavioral challenges, it broadened to all families. As I did later move into management and administrative positions, I held this passion for potential and have since been supporting leaders to improve their skills, therefore enhancing their capacity to excel in their work of choice. I work to promote excellence through spirited teambuilding, specifically working with teams to strengthen relationships, build commitment, emphasize accountability, and realize results. In my role as Training Director and Consultant, I am responsible for administering agency-wide management and leadership training. I design training curricula, oversee a professional training team, and oversee external training sales, marketing, product development, and delivery.

I love being a mom, spending as much time as possible raising my two children with my husband. I enjoy gardening, golfing, walking, cooking, home remodeling/decorating, traveling, reading, movies, and spending time with family and friends. Oh, and then there’s shopping!

What does training mean to me?
I believe that training provides for opportunities to learn, grow, and advance the possibilities of what each individual is able to accomplish. My role as a trainer is to connect with each individual in the classroom, ensuring that each person is able to return to his/her work environment and apply new ideas, skills and concepts to improve performance outcomes.
